Welcome Reception

On Friday evening, Providence Anime Conference will kick off its first year by getting everyone together at our welcome reception. You will have the opportunity to mingle with guests, featured panelists, conference staff, and fellow attendees. You can meet up with old friends, catch up with each other, and get a chance to discuss the upcoming events with them while hearing our keynote speaker, taking cosplay photos, and enjoying a cash bar.

The reception will begin with the introduction of the Conference Chairman, Mr. Jonathan Niehof. This will be followed by the introduction of our Guests of Honor. After we have welcomed the guests to Providence, our keynote speaker will take the stage. Following the keynote address, the reception will continue and give people time to socialize.

Approximately 90 minutes after the start of the reception, our Cosplay Fashion Show will begin. As the fashion show takes place, people are welcome to get close to the stage to take photos. Following the Cosplay Fashion Show, the reception will come to a close and the ballroom will be set up for the next event.
