Formal Ball

On Saturday evening, get dressed up in your best semi-formal attire, find a dance partner, and take part in our Formal Ball. Moving across the dance floor will be a nice way to end a great day.

Dress Code:
The dress code is "semi-formal". We expect nice dark suits and ties for the gentlemen and dresses for the ladies. We expect that most people old enough for Providence Anime Conference are also old enough to properly understand the term "semi-formal". Picture what you would wear to a traditional wedding. If you have questions, post on our forums.

Cosplay Dress Code:
While cosplay is welcome at this event, the costumes are also expected to be appropriate. Whatever your character would wear in a to a ball such as this would be what you would be expected to wear as a costume. For example, although Ouran High School students may wear suits every day, they surely wouldn't wear them if they were told that semi-formal dress was required. Think of this event as an opportunity to show your creativity for cosplaying a character and interpreting what they would do for a "semi-formal" event.
