Welcome Reception

What better way to welcome everyone to Providence than with a welcome reception? Mingle with guests, featured panelists, staff, and other attendees and get a chance to discuss the upcoming events with them.

Video Programming

We have a wide variety of video programming. From the classic anime we grew up on to the latest releases and even some anime music video screenings, you'll find a wide variety of anime playing in our video rooms.

Panel Programming

We will be hosting panels run by some of the leaders in the anime and manga industry. Hear from our guests, learn more about how anime in America got its start, or find out how the industry is doing today.

Cosplay Fashion Show

A non-competitive runway-style fashion show designed to showcase costume craftsmanship. Participants are invited to wear costumes they have made themselves or costumes they are modeling for a commissioner.

Cosplay Skit Exhibition

A non-competitive evening event showcasing performance in costume. Participants will be able to present short skits, dance numbers, improvisational comedy, and more.

Manga Library

Take a load off and relax in the peaceful tranquility of the New England Anime Society's manga library. Hundreds of volumes are available for reading. Check out that series you've been curious about.

Artists' Alley

Providence Anime Conference is taking the artists' alley back to its roots. Artists' alley will feature a variety of pen-and-paper artists showcasing their work. Many would love to do commissioned work for you.

Art Expo

Everyone can enjoy our art exposition. Stroll through and enjoy the artwork, shop for artwork to display in your home, or reserve space to have your own artwork featured for everyone to see (and maybe even buy!)

Game Shows

Not only will you have a chance to participate in our game shows to prove you are the anime trivia king or to show off your improvisation skills, but they're great fun to just sit and watch too.

Formal Ball

On Saturday evening, get dressed up in your best black tie formal attire, find a dance partner, and take part in our formal ball. Moving across the dance floor will be a nice way to end a great day.

Charity Auction

You can feel all warm and fuzzy inside by bidding on items at our charity auction. Not only will you feel good about yourself, but you could bring home a unique item that would be hard (or impossible) to find elsewhere!
